I am enjoying my first few new days of DA.

It's satisfies every voyeuristic tendency I have. And believe me, I-like-to-watch.


I think I can thank my mom for making me the observant person that I am. I was told, that when I was a baby, she would hold me in her arms bring me to the closet and rub different fabrics from different clothes on my arms and cheeks.
Making me ~feel~ at a very young age.

Then years of travelling to and from school and work with an average bus ride of an hour and a half to and from said govermental traps, is what got me hooked at looking at people.
Everyone, everything, they way they carry themselves. Their expressions. The faces they make at their own thoughts.
How people relate to one another just by the way they LOOK. Without ever knowing the person beside you.

You might be afraid of that young teen with the mohawk, piercings, tattoos and shreaded clothing, believing them to be the threat......when you don't even realize the polyester suit clad gentleman beside you, with the suitcase and clean cut hair is actually going to be on trial in a few years for serially raping children.

Ok...a little exaggerated, I know...but you get my drift.

I like people pictures. Amature and professional alike. It isn't the most exquisitely perfect pictures that necessarily catch my eye, sometimes a simple webcam picture of a girl at a moment of sheer self-confidence will be the one that makes me swoon.

I have very little artistic talent. However, I do know that if I could choose to excel in something artistic it would definitely be photography. I guess that means I should practice more right?
You'll excuse the redundant use of pictures of myself as my deviant art. It is not a swollen head that causes that, it's the fact that it's all I have played with really. Taking pictures of myself and bastardizing them is one thing, taking up the time and patience of another and not coming out with a nice picture is a whole other story.
Suffice to say...I don't have the "balls" yet to try my hand at artful photography of others. Perhaps one day I will surpass that obstacle.
